Media standards

Use rights-cleared visuals. Attribute video exactly. Never imply evidence that is not there.

Real people, clearly labeled

Story photography is locally stored and commercially reusable under the license stated beside each image. When a photograph shows a leader or an earlier conference rather than the reported event, the caption says “file photo” and identifies the actual setting. Our machine-readable image rights manifest records the exact Commons file page, creator, license, edits, caption, and intended use.

Company and product marks

Selected OpenAI and Claude text marks are shown only as small editorial identifiers on stories about those products. Their Commons records describe them as public-domain text logos, but trademark rights still apply. All company and product marks belong to their owners; their appearance does not imply sponsorship, partnership, or endorsement of AI News Sprint.

Attribution and derivatives

Creative Commons credits link to the exact source file and license. Crops, resizes, raster versions, and WebP delivery files are identified as modifications. CC BY-SA image derivatives remain available under the same license; that share-alike condition applies to the image derivative, not the surrounding article.

Publisher material

Publisher article photos are not copied into monetized pages without explicit permission or a clear reusable license. A link to a report does not grant rights to its photography.

Video and source media

Videos appear as standard, playable YouTube controls through the official privacy-enhanced player. Players load lazily from youtube-nocookie.com. Every card states the real title and channel and retains a direct YouTube fallback link. “Official” is used only for the organization's own channel; commentary and reporting are labeled as such.
